Hehe hello there! Oh i do love atoms no doubt! But unfortunatly it's just too impracticle for irish roads at the price it is frown I would in a second if i was in the uk as theres so many tracks available. However in ireland the amount of 'good quality' track days is at most 10 a year which is just no good as most are weekdays and mean that at best i make 50% of them a year! And as it is i have a hard enough time trying to choose what to bring as it really bugs me i'm short and my legs can't stradle two cars on track :P

How did you like the atom? Do you have any pictures? They really do facinate me. I guess because i love the rawness of the lotus and i think the only way to beat that lotus feeling is not up in power as such but down on creature comforts and up on the raw road eating feeling wink

I had the great honour of being asked to bring the Diablo to wales with the evo crew about a month after i had actually finalised the purchase in may laugh It was a magical few days and amazing being able to invade wales in my dream car with 3 other lambos arguably some of the best ever built! In fairness if you had told me this time last year i would have driven a 6.0 let alone been on a magazine shoot less then a month after i bought one i would have laugh and said you were crazy

90% of the day was standing aorund freezing but it was without a doubt one of the best two days of my life! The funniest bit was when I had given my 6 to one of the evo writers and I was grabbing a lift in the Gallardo. There was a mis communication and the guy who was meant to be driving it drove off in his jeep. So I was left alone with the Gallardo and the photographer so he was like you have to drive. I said no way I never drove an e gear! Plus i really hate driving cars i have never been in before in front of people! But with no choice and me more scared then he was giving me the keys it was an amazing experience!!! Nothing compared to the 6 but you see I never ever drive any cars unless I own them. I hardly ever test drive. So being able to drive the Gallardo really hard just to keep up with the photographer on the amazing welsh roads was just great!!!!

Would you believe it but i actually haven't seen evo yet! I am dying to see it and have been waiting since May but it's not in the Irish shops yet and my subscriber copy has not landed yet. It's such agony hearing from people about the article and not even knowing anything about it yet! I hear the 6 was rated quite high though? Damn i really hope i can get a copy tommorow, i can't wait much longer!!! Here's a picture anyway

Wow - so it was you who bought Johnny5's car then (is that right?). Fantastic thing. Spent time in one a few years back - a mate from PH (Tony_666 / Tony 996hasgone) rund a RHD 6.0 in Arancio and having been in the passenger seat and driven in convoy to Le Mans in it I ahve to say it is the lambo I desire above all others muira included. Still ahve a soft spot for the anniversary but I'm toobloody tall for that. The 6.0 is something I will own at some point, I just need to find a black / dark blue one and find a house with a garage wide enough to take it! Oh and some more money!

Yes it was indeed Jonny5's. I was keeping tabs on the ph lambo forum for years and i saw a very flipant comment one night from him saying he had a job offer in the us and before i finished reading the sentence i had fired off an email to him. My heart kinda of sank in a way as i thought i wouldn't be able to make it happen as the morgan and tvr are so new. Although it was far from ideal financially i decided the risk was worth it as the next time one would come up it would have another owner, more miles etc. And if anyones going to rack up high miles i want it to be me! wink But i wont be buying another car for at least 10 years

They really are something else to drive. I was amazed at quite how easy it was to drive. By that i mean it's the first car i have had where the seating position is perfect, i don't need the seat raised/brought foward etc it's just perfect. On the road it's great even in slow traffic the only really hard thing about her is the width, it's like driving a truck whihc is odd for me as i spend 70% of my time in the elise which is just tiny. But i would actually liken it to a big elise on the roads. It's amazingly responsive the only trouble is it is way too easy to not realise how fast your cruising at

I know tony, only from contacting him and asking a few questions. I had my beedy little eyes on the three Arancio Atlas 6.0's (not including the se which i didn't know the whereabouts of). Wierd that you say that about the dark blue and black! When i bought it in March two other 6.0's were sold within a week, one blue and one black! Which is odd as there is only about 20 in the uk and the other two had been on sale for ages. Both were bought by Ph'ers Craig and BossCerbera. Both were for sale in top gear cars in edinburgh which is an excellent site to keep your eye on. So in one month more 6.0's were sold then would move in a year usually. I'll show you both the other ones as i know you'll like them :
