Ah. Thanks for clarifying "sweeties" grin2

Today, yes, just to MMC. But, being Friday 13th, something had to go wrong and I've put another scratch in the N/S, this time on the front wing mad

That is very frustrating Graham. I hope it is not too deep.

Indeed. It's not going to polish out...

I know how you feel from when I dented the n/s rear wing on mine when I was clumsy with the tool compartment cover. The frustration subsides quickly once the car is mended - even if the bank balance takes a while to recover.

Yes. Well I can do the minor scratch myself I think, but there is a deeper one at the bottom of the wing.
The first thing might be to take a 9" angle grinder to the paving slab step at the front door to give a few additional inches clearance on the opposite side...

Have done a couple of hundred miles or so in the previous 2 days. First to Bath, and then to Chichester. A lot less miles today, as I spent about 8 hours at Goodwood Revival. Extremely busy place by the afternoon, but I left around 5.30 and pottered up to Midhurst for some food.

My B&B bedroom has a slight view of Goodwood - the Mustangs flew over this morning whilst I was taking the cover off the car.

Also, I saw this Plus 8 not far from where I was parked:

That will make you feel a whole lot better.

Is there anywhere you can mount a mirror to give you a clearer view of the pinch points?

Get a 6" nail, a hammer and a block of hardwood. Bang the nail fully into the hardwood. It won't help the situation but you'll feel better.
