P.S. When do you pick-up the Oreo Boshers?   oh ok Friday.... It'll be quite sad as im taking the S2 up to be inspected and serviced etc so it'll be the last drive  and then I'll be leaving her behind probably never to share special and tender moments again  Vicky will be there to cheer me up though ...... oh, and Simon

The first proper use the Flashmobile (renamed, thanks to Aeroman!) will have shall be to convey myself and Lady F to a country hotel for a wedding and general lazing about for a long weekend. Lady F has booked in an afternoon of spa treatments for the day after the wedding. I have declined, as a) I'm not a big girl, and b) I intend to spend the day exploring Hampshire's more interesting roads, to the accompaniment of some glorious V8 sidepipe action.
I feel a bit disloyal to my beloved S1, which we were going to make the trip in, but I'm sure it will pass after a few corners; however, the happy couple were going to use my S1 to drive away from the church in. The bride's not sure about the satanic nature of the new car: apparently powder blue metallic, vanilla seats with blue piping and light ash prettiness are more her thing than black, black and black with a side helping of evil. Some people have no vision.
So my S1 may still be getting rolled out for its last day of service in my stewardship - we shall see. It would be a fitting goodbye...

Don't let mrs_f burn her ankles on the sidepipes! First thing that happened to mrs_t in the Series 2, which meant a significant earbashing.  The increased interior comfort factor will win her over though I would think. There is even a glovebox. Sort of.
