Hi All. I just joined. I've got a friend with a 1935 three wheeler beetle back project. He's looking to sell it. All the rare parts are there including headlights and wheels. Missing a few shift linkage pieces in case anyone has some.

Here are a few photos: 1935 Morgan 3 Wheeler Project Photos

Are you buying it , or is this a "for sale" project?

If the latter that is a fantastic project for someone a bit more knowledgeable and skilful than I.

Have you considered using the Morgan Three Wheeler Club forum as I suspect the audience there would be highly appreciative?

Yes, it's a fantastic project. It has always resided in California. A restoration was started in the 1980's but not completed. I'm helping him selling it. Can you point me to the Morgan Three Wheeler forum?

Nice project.

Body is probably earlier than 1933 going by the single D cutaway behind the radiator. Also it should have a combined oil and petrol tank.

As rough rule, Matchless engines were fitted from 1934 onwards.

I'd suggest that you run the chassis number and engine number past the MWTC Registrar. Chassis number should be on the gearbox flange and begin with the letter Dxxxx. If you are very lucky it will also be stamped in the St Christopher medallion on the dashboard

Hope this helps

Thanks. Just joined. He's thinking around $10k, but is open to offers. Very complete project and a California car.

It is in California, but happy to assist with locating a shipping company.
