Sports exhaust or not?
So I'm a little confused.... I've been following DaveW's exhaust upgrade and came across the image showing "rear twin tailpipe".
So on my 110year Plus 4 on of the free options was the "Rear exit sports exhaust system, catalytic converter backwards" which I ordered... However my exhaust is not twin tailpipe...
Have Morgan fitted the wrong exhaust?
How else can I check ...
Many thanks

I would definitely contact them and show them the pictures.
Last October I went to the Morgan muster. I asked the Australian dealer a few questions about the 110model and it was unclear about the options, basically he said the leather trim, performance seats and roof are definitely included in the deal. The Moto Lita steering wheel, 14” leather rim & holes or wood & holes and chrome interior mirror cannot be included because the car will not be imported if it doesn't match the car that was passed for ADR (Australian Design Rules). I asked about the exhaust and he said it shouldn't be a problem but the 110 model was only announced a week ago and he needs to look at it more.
He did say he has 10 Moto Lita steering wheels in different woods so once the car is registered I can swap the steering wheel finding one that matches the dash as close as possible. He said it is only about $1000 to swap the steering wheel afterwards. I thought that is a bit annoying that the car can't have the free optional steering wheel at purchase time but I can pay $1000 to get it later, but it would not stop me going ahead (other non car things did but if a miracle happens before the end of the year I might still order one).
He emphasised that all the options shown would be available in the UK but in Australia we have to keep the cars ADR compliant to get the car imported and registered. Although while i would swap the steering wheel as the black plastic thing looks revolting to me it does make me worry about the insurance implications in an accident seeing the wheel was obviously not what the car was imported with.
Assuming you are in the UK I would assume you can get every option so I would check everything optional or included feature with the 110 model and make sure you got it.

The sports exhaust on my 110+4 is a single pipe and cat back only. The only visual difference from my previous plus 4 is the silencer box is much smaller. The noise has a more throaty growl and pops a lot more on the overrun. I've yet to push it hard but in all honesty I don't think it makes the car faster it just sounds better (in my opinion). I think the ECU is locked and can only be adjusted by Morgan but I may be wrong. The works edition 110 has a single pipe as well.
