You are right James, Tracy kept nagging me not to sell the Aero and as the only offers came from people wanting me to take an Aston in p/x which I don’t want so I thought I would get her back and enjoy some winter sun and then decide what to do. 😄

I shall be keeping an eye open for that delightful colour scheme near to MMC again

I was on the south coast today and did see another Morgan.... a blue +8 I think, judging by the wheels.

Stuck behind builders skip for the past two weeks, whilst an extension pushes to it's end. All worth it the Boss says (it is her kitchen after all).

Michael and Tracy are above reproach (as am I ....😎);just delighted to see that Michael is 'back' in the fold.....

I went boating in the Aero yesterday... torrential rain on a flying visit to Salisbury, in which the visibility and water levels had me down to 35mph. Thankfully I fitted 4 new tyres 100 miles ago. I still managed a 4 wheel drift/ aquaplane at one point.
The hardtop was on - and stayed watertight, more or less. A couple of drips on the doors' wood trim, and a couple from the centre rail. This in weather similar to being in a carwash!

The sill carpets got their usual creeping damp. It creeps more slowly since Williams followed factory advice and inserted piping inside the door seal, to help it keep its profile. Better, but not yet a perfect seal.

& today was a hop over to Goodwood, to drive the McLaren GT on the road (I've previously played with it at Millbrook). It's an incredibly comfortable and stable car - and more comfortable & sure footed with the suspension in track mode than the Aero. The Aero is often limited on back roads by its ability to manage the road surface: the McLaren isn't - it's always going to be a faster car than I can drive it, or road safety will allow. (& so it should be at that price :-) )

Fiance Emma also drove the GT - and enjoyed it, hugely.
This is a revelation: while aesthetically Emma likes the idea of the Aero's looks, she has no interest in driving it - because it's such a raw experience, and just a bit intimidating.
