Sorry to hear this Pete and hope you have somewhere to go for future employment, another human tragedy unfolds for the workforce due to management incompetence and greed.
Good Luck.

Thomas Cook has financial problems with his business model, but the flight service has been profitable until the end, especially as passengers from other travel companies have been added. Now, of course, the Thomas Cook main passengers are missing in the planes.
Perhaps Lufthansa will buy the Condor back. It was a proud affiliate of Lufthansa with a long tradition. Perhaps this way the flight operations will be maintained.

My neighbour is currently out in Turkey with Thomas Cook. He's not entirely sure when he's coming back but apparently the view is nice....

I'm currently in Greece and should have been flying back to Manchester with Thomas Cook on Monday. I read a report that the cost of repatriating 150000 holidaymakers was £600 million. That's £4000 per seat. Must be business class as a minimum so I'm looking forward to being repatriated.

Not good news pete757 and I am sorry to hear it.
Unfortunately, most reports indicate it was going to fold anyway.
