I am installing a manual overide to the engine fan actuation system that is currently only triggered by the otter switch in the radiator.

I plan to piggyback connectors from the otter switch to a manual switch on the dashboard

In order to keep the dash looking tidy I was proposing to use the redundant variable instrument lighting rheostat. Obviously that in itself is not suitable, so I was planning to utilise an on/off matching switch (much like the heater fan switch) and replace it. I know I could use almost any type of switch if I was to install it under the dashboard out of sight, but i would rather keep it on view if possible, and if it had a fan icon that would illuminate when in use that would be ideal.

Does anyone know what these switches were sourced from originally? I have been trying to find something, and each time I keep hitting a blank wall.

Many thanks for help in advance.

They have this 2-speed fan switch but have no idea if it will fit , so I have to do some measurement and check it.
