The A35 is very complex, very clever and safe, but you know that there are multiple computers making it so.
Thats not my memory of Austin A35's !

The A35 is very complex, very clever and safe, but you know that there are multiple computers making it so.
Thats not my memory of Austin A35's ! Nor mine, but I do like them, and a tuned 1275 with disc brakes would be a lot of fun...……..

So is the 4/4 with the Sigma, it just loves high revs in 2,3 and 4 and continues in 5 What’s wrong with high revs in first as well?? Enthusiastic standing quarter and all that....or traffic light Grand Prix 😇😇😇 Isn’t 5th a fuel saving overdrive? 5th = overdrive?? Possibly. iirc Cat's car is a 2012 4/4 so if the build date is pre July/Aug it will have the Ford 'box (with its very high fifth gear) but if it is later in 2012 it will have the more usable 5th gear ratio of the Mazda gearbox.

Griffo Is this your car? My youngest son has a Focus ST with induction kit and bigger intercooler. flying machine. I achieved 14.9 seconds quarter mile at our local drag racing track a few years back in my +8, that was my second run and my reaction time could have been better. I have the Tornado Chip, straight through exhaust, modified air intake and a number of other mods on the +8. Was quite pleased with myself as I beat a number of Porches and Audie's.

Time then to consider the Sport exhaust and ECU flash. I'll get the fuel consumption formalised on Tuesday when I fill the tank, but I'm in the same zone as SteveT….just over 40 by the look of it, which is 10mpg more than I was getting.
Low down grunt is transformed and the extra power is obvious at the higher end. I'm very pleased with it.
Indeed.... I have the cat back sports exhaust as it came as a free option. I'm waiting eagerly to hear your feedback on it. I was wondering if it avoids the guarantee?
