The tash made me smile , but I quite like a bit of eccentricity and the Morgan guy came across as wealthy but nice. By comparison the lambo man was just a show off and why on earth would anyone want a black interior with a steering wheel in that awful yellow? .. and I have no ambition to have a rack in my garage with my trainers on display! Morgan came across well though.

I too had a good chat with John at Prescott...very funny down to earth with no pretensions in my opinion.
He gets Morgan in a big way and still finds it amusing that on a £195 grand car (his AeroGT) is still leaks in heavy rain...but he wouldn't swop it .
Regards the man from Yorkshire with the waxed moustache.

""ostentatious and pretentious bollocks""
Describes not just cars, but the hotels and cruise liners that the modern "high net worth" person seems to feel are important.
I just do not understand why enough people are interested in gawping at these people to make TV programs worth making.
It probably makes for cheap programming and appeals to those companies that want to show off their products and appeals to advertisers who want to be aligned with luxury The Morgan bit was definitely worth watching though

So, from a woman's point of view after watching all those luxurious cars last night, I have to say that the only cars shown that come across as "sexy" are the Morgans. Sorry Mr. Builder guy with the yellow Lambo you are just wasting your time ! Morgans are the only cars that make my heart race.

I had a nice chat with John Hildred when he was with his Aero GT on the Williams stand at Prescott last year: Came over as a really nice chap There is an interesting article about him and his Morgans on the MMC website. It seems very clear that Jon has caught the bug: he lives just 10 miles from the factory. I feel sorry for his bank account. From the TV program I wonder if he now owns a Plus Six?

I found the 'It's John's loyalty to the premium car brand that earned him the chance to try this newest model early' comment interesting. My loyalty to the brand for the best part of 40 years was getting a £1000 surcharge when I changed the spec on my current 4/4 before it went into production. Thanks MMC.

I am a little bit conflicted about that program....(no change there then)
MMC clearly got brilliant coverage from it but being in among the Lambo/super yacht bit makes them look a little on the decadent side which I don't think is really true. The last thing I want is to be put in the same league as the knob with the Uranus. I think I prefer being under the radar and hearing the occasional shout of kit car along with people doing the zombie.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.
