It was in jest !

The land we would need to release from planning restrictions in order to build all the garages alone would be as criminal a waste of resources as the manufacturing of all the luxury items.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Jay is a real gentleman and good fun to be with, his collection is not just cars but also engines of all types. I used to drive my +8 as my daily driver to the Warner Bros. Studios and would pass Jay on a number of occasions driving various vehicles to the NBC Studios, we would wave at each other. One day he had broken down in his Stanley Steamer, I stopped to offer help and we got talking, he invited me to the warehouse. Over time we would meet up and go to various events he also let me drive some of his collection, he has an unbelievable love of mechanical things and his knowledge is second to none.

That is a great endorsement to Jay, he always comes over as a total enthusiast to me and I enjoy his relaxed style.

Couldn't agree more. I have watched every episode of Jay Leno's Garage ("J. Len O.'s Ga-Rahj") and enjoyed them all.

I've said it before, I wish there could be a U.K. version of the show. Robbie Coltrane made Coltrane's Planes and Automobiles in 1997 and B Road Britain 10 years later. I think he could have made a very good British JL.

I just looked on the tinter web about Jay Leno

I knew he was a stand up comedian but didn’t know how he had afforded such a collection

Apparently he earned about $30 million a year for nearly 22 years hosting the Tonight Show but still did stand up gigs every week during that time

He said he saved every penny from his Tonight show income and lived on his stand up income

No wonder his collection is vast
