Plus 4s that have been flashed should have lower CO2 emissions.

Just don't make it too early in the morning.. I'm not sure we need to think about handicaps.. Dave's slight shortness of stature (i almost said shortage in his trouser dept but that's something quite different and i can confirm i thankfully have no knowledge of) may be offset by my own slightly taller but racing snake physique. I think at our ages adding more handicaps than we have naturally would put us both at a disadvantage.

Headless B, your car will probably have the standard 'set up' even with your chosen aero back half (as mine) and the factory seem quite happy to upgrade it with their performance flash. I dealt with Rob who was very helpful. Its a while you wait kind of job so coffee and sausage roll can be downed in the cafe in about the same time it takes to 'flash'.

Thanks Steve - really helpful stuff. Any excuse to get back for a factory visit is good in my book plus a catch up with Graham of course...
Cheers again

Well I shall be having the sport map applied to my ECU by post, just need to get in touch with the factory to arrange etc.

I am thinking of putting the car on a rolling road after it's applied if there is enough interest?

Still no answer from the factory as to what the outcomes of the map will be

Really need a “before and after” to verify any improvement. Original spec figures are generic and may not necessarily apply to yours.

According to Librands the following figures apply:

Standard Manifold BHP - 155 @ 6000RPM
Standard Manifold Torque - 165 Lb/ft @ 4500RPM

Librands Manifold BHP - 169 @ 6000RPM
Librands Manifold Torque - 172 Lb/ft @ 4500RPM

I will see if I can get a couple of runs arranged with a local dyno firm i've used before

Waiting to hear how people are finding the flash/manifold/exhaust upgrade is going. I suspect Dave W will be along soon but others will have their thoughts too.

According to Helen Thorne the chip and exhaust should not affect warranty...
She also referred to it as making a real difference...
