Crickey that is the fourth Morgan I have seen advertised on the forum having to be sold due to health reasons of late, I find that really sad knowing how much these cars get under your skin and it makes you realise more than ever get on and enjoy them now.

I wish you all luck in finding a satisfying solution, I know one of you has in the Volvo so good news.

Happy the man, and he alone
He who can call today his own
He who secure within can say
Tomorrow do thy worst for I've lived today drive

Couldn't agree more! I had the option last year - start saving for my Morgan and buy one in three or four years, or max out a couple of credit cards and take the plunge before I was too old or broken to enjoy (years of riding bikes has taken its toll!)

Needless to say, I went for the latter, just finished my first year of ownership and loved every minute smile smile Carpe Diem as John rightly says....

"get on and enjoy them now"

Absolutely! None of us in our seventies know how much longer we'll be around -- or how much longer we will be capable of getting in and out of sports cars. I regard every day after 70 as a bonus.

I think it true to say that the vast majority of contributors on TM have known this for years and are fully immersed in enjoying every day no matter what you are up to. The Memsahib and I have just returned from another long weekend in the capital of the world to partake in everything that the London to Brighton offers.
Obviously we ate and drunk far to much but boy it was a great weekend except for that poor chap who took the wrong turning and went onto the M23.

Here for a good time not a long time!!

Ever since my 91 year old dad turned 80 he’s referred to it as “injury time”
