No issue there, only problem is that they may not let you back into the Principality, but I suppose that could be a merciful relief!

the McLaren is too exepensive, certainly as they will make lots of them and want to show a new model every 9 months = doh

I went to live in the states in 1999, flew KLM from Aberdeen via AMS. They lost my bag. I came home for Xmas hand baggage only, At the gate in AMS they said I could not take the bag on as the flight was full so it would be put in the hold. It did not arrrive in Aberdeen. I swore not to use them again and I did not for 5 years until I transferred to Malaysia. I came home on my first trip KL AMS Bristol. Gueass what NO BAGS. I do have to go to AMS regularly working as I do for an Anglo Dutch IOC but avoid checking a bag. I do agree that the Noodle Bar is the best place to eat.

I've never had a problem with Schipol myself. In my experience baggage loss is more related to airlines than airports.

About 10 years ago I worked for a year in various European countries flying out on Monday morning in a Suckling Airways Dornier from Southampton airport to Schipol, for onward connection. I carried my bags across the tarmac and "checked them in" at the bottom of the aircraft steps where the handler would place them straight into the hold. "Reclaim" was the same way at the bottom of the steps at Schiphol.

We had a huge number of flights for staff over the year but I think I was the only one who never lost a single piece of baggage. Easily the worst was the (thankfully now defunct) Belgium airline Sabena who managed to lose every piece of luggage entrusted to them.

Be warned - Garuda Airlines, Indonesia - Garuda means mythical bird - in reality it doesn't always appear, same with luggage !!!!

Great to see Bristol will survive for another day.

They must have been a subsidiary of Alitalia then - an airline who not only lost every bit of baggage I ever entrusted to them but who could only be relied on for one thing - being late.
