Racing at Forrestburn this weekend so no rest for the wicked 🙂 Only Doune race weekend on the 18th Sept weekend then the season is finished .... hopefully I can then push on with getting her bowling down the road (Mrs Image's hefty 'to do' list permitting 🙂) K Last edited by Image; 26/08/21 03:53 PM.

The last car I frightened the neighbours with was an old Jensen Interceptor minus bonnet and most of it`s exhaust and looking resplendent in an attractive shade of corrosion poking through an old coat of primer, your Morgan is way better class than the old thing I was messing with...Congrats..

OP Image Charter Member Joined: Oct 2019 Posts: 5,587 Likes: 603 Aberdeenshire	A bit more progress spurred by the poor weather and lack of racing opportunities 🙂 Main jobs left to do are the bonnet sides (currently reworked and in primer) and the rear mudguards (currently undergoing metal surgery to remove the tinworm) .... still some odd bits of trim to get round to .... fortunately in a car of this age it's all very basic (rubber mats and thin ply covered in leathercloth) .... none of your fancy carpet and complex hand stitched leather .... robust and simple (bit like me then!! 🙂) Still a million or so grubby handprints to clean off as well Onwards and Upwards K
