The biggest issue I have with mine is 'folding'. The side panels make it very difficult to fold flat, so I always end up with creases in the side windows. On my 'list' is a couple of vertical zips either side of the rear window, This will allow me to unzip, and fold the rear window in before the sides, and also easier access to the panelled rear when the hood is up.

Greetings All After a huge absence (for the fine reason of driving the car rather than working on it!🙂) ... I remembered I'd not posted any pics of the new hood having trekked down to Allon White's to have it made .... so here's some for the sake of completeness .... it uses the long door sidescreens in place of my tatty old ones ... have yet to use it in anger, being a 'top-down where possible' sort of bloke but it will come into its own as the seasons turn. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2023/08/15/20230815_093946.jpeg) K

Looks really good. I like the Simmonds style rear side windows - definately going to have mine done like that to save on storage space.

![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2024/03/19/Screenshot_20240319_102150_Gallery.jpeg) Sad to note the passing of Ossie the Morgan-obsessed Petrolhead Cat ... she was a constant presence through the Resto from the first second she saw the car arrive on the trailer .... her favourite sleeping place (no mice in my garage!) .. we joked it was really her car but she just let us drive it ... will miss her little presence in my workshop of an evening. So sorry to learn of your loss. They all leave a big hole in our lives when they pass on.

Keith -I've gone through the same heartbreaking experience several times during the course of my many decades of feline accompaniment. The sadness brought about by their eventual loss can be significant. I've come to realize that given a little time, the best way to come to terms with the sadness is to invite another one into your home as soon as practicable.

Our current feline in charge is a Bengal who moved in the day after our previous ginger cat crossed the bridge. We knew where she came from so went to see the owners who confessed that she hadn't been very happy with them (Lovely family but a bit chaotic with 6 kids, 3 dogs and 4 other cats) so if we liked we could keep her. She's been a permanent fixture for the last 3 years. ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2024/03/19/IMG_1851.jpeg)

Over the last 30 years our cat graveyard has grown a small forest of cairns for our feline side of the family (each has a cairn of a style and stone that seemed to suit them! 🙂 We've often had multiple cats at a time (easy out here with limitless space ... Cat-Heaven really... mile from even a small C-road with little traffic and straight out of a wild garden into woods and fields ... never had an overweight cat ... always too busy!) .... never bought a cat ... they just find us ... no doubt that will happen again as this leaves us with a single cat ... bit of a dingbat this one! K Dingbat-Cat this afternoon!! 🙂 ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2024/03/19/20240319_171545.jpeg)
