I wonder if anybody else has the same issue - the exhaust on my SS (left hand side) has yesterday started to sound like a bolt has come adrift in it and really rattles badly. The exhaust itself - rear exit- feels really "solid" so it seems an "internal" issue. Any thoughts ?
regards

I had a similar problem years ago and it turned out to be a loose baffle in the main exhaust box, if you press the box you can stop the rattle, what I did was cut an opening in the box and welded the baffle plate to the box and then welded the flap back.
I suppose nowadays people will just buy a new exhaust box.

Might be internal bits of the Catalytic Convertor rattling about, happened to mine on a Plus 4 and it sounded like a tin can with a marble in it.

If nothing is rubbing, falling off or likely to snag then I cannot see it getting a lot worse. You could always give a local quickfit place £20 to slide it up on a ramp and have a quick inspection for risk mitigation then go to the dealer. They might even be able to tell you if they think it is in the box etc to help. Despite the mud often slung there is a usually a more trained one among them who is happy to lend a hand.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.
