I am treating my car to a 'G Coupler' to clamp on to nipple (be careful how you google one !) and fit my trusty old Wanner Grease Gun.. There are 3 choices of thread size M10 1/8" BSP 1/8" NPT I have excluded the M10 so is it likely to be BSP or NPT thread? For the confused (or intrigued) here is a link to the G Coupler Amazon link to G Coupler

Good morning Keith,
Before you buy from Amazon try this link:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Grease-Gun-G-Coupler-Quick-Release-Lock-On-Coupling-End-1-8-BSP-Workshop-Farm/163660375854?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
I bought one from these people, it was brand new, less than half the cost £6, arrived in a few days and it had a 1/8" BSP thread which fits perfectly.
Hope this helps....
Rob.

I bought a G Coupler from Amazon. Totally useless. Threw it away in a fit of temper - should have returned it for a refund.

Should be able to tell by looking at the male thread:
If it tapers (3/4" per foot), then its NPT or BSP(T)
If its parallel then its BSP(P)

I had a similar experience to Paul.
It worked for 2 occasions and then grease always went everywhere bar through the nipple.
I went back to the old connector and it works fine.

Never needed other than the standard functionality of the Wanner. I have come up against a situation (non-mog) where I had two hands pulling on the trigger trying to get grease to flow into an old suspension. I have no idea what pressure that equated to in the gun and associated nipple but I suspect it was rather a lot, given the gun was locked solid to the nipple.. All that was required to free it was to use the thumb screw on top of the gun to release the pressure I had built up, and release the gun from the nipple with a twist.... Been using my Wanner for circa 50 years

I bought one of the couplers & found it works fine. I would never go back.
