John,
I sure hope I see your M3W Sometime in my area! I am just southwest of Pittsburgh (near New Stanton) and have NEVER seen a M3W in real life yet! Congrats on the purchase, it's too bad the weather is going downhill now. Let me know if you are ever near me, I'd love to see the M3W and say hello!

Hey Rob82,
I saw a 3 W at the Hartwood Acres show in September but that's the last one I remember seeing. My friend and I picked mine up in Morgantown today and drove it back to Pittsburgh. All I can say is WHAT A RIDE! I woke up this morning with a touch of the flu but couldn't cancel the pickup. My friend drove down to Morgantown and we split the wheel time on the way back. The car had 47 miles on it then, now has 120. I met the owner of the dealership and chatted with him about how the car came to be, a 2016 SuperDry. He told me a customer special ordered it then suffered a setback which kept him from picking it up. The held if for him for a couple years and then decided to put it in the showroom. I got luck I guess because it has all the updates done already. Is there a break in period? Am looking forward to meeting other local owners and going for a drive or two. Rob, have you participated in the PVGP week? We do the countryside tour each year in our other Morgan and will take the 3W next summer. Let me know if you need some info. John

John John, Hope you feel better. I don't have a M3W,can't afford one, but I am trying to build my own version of one. I fell in love with them several years ago but it's just been a dream. I have not attended PVGP and actually just learned about it this summer from a friend. Hopefully I'll be able to build one that is close to a M3W.

Linklaw there is a first service at 1000 miles/1500km or 3 months whichever comes first labour should be free. Initially the ECU limits revs which increases in stages with miles. sorry cannot find the figures. As with any new car keep the revs and speed down initially & dont drive it hard. Those car shows that build a car & then take it on the drag strip to show it off to the customers are how you should not treat a newly built engine.

Thanks all for the tips. I will definitely take the car back to the dealer for the first service. rcmatt, I saw the info about the Skyline Drive ride and was considering bringing my 4/4 last summer. I couldn't break away but hopefully this summer will give a little more free time. A ride down Skyline Drive is on my to do list.
