Interesting that it is quoted as a six speed manual as I thought the 6 speed was introduced on the 330hp Series 2 engine but then I guess things were more variable as they developed the car.

A strong price for a very good condition car from the look of it.

Both of my S1’s (2001 & 2002) were 6 speeders.

yep, mine is 6 speed too - think all the S1's were (with the Getrag box).

That car does looks immaculate ,but then I guess it would with only 5K miles on it. doh

I still think they are being a little (very!) optimistic with the price ,even given the low miles.

Actually, not sure I would go for a car of that age that had been used so little - imagine all those seals ,etc. drying out......

Are you still on the lookout for another Aero, Simon; did the GT40 go..... ?

James

They need a retail mark up such as that figure, for when a Baboon walks in with a piece of sh1t that's worth £3k and wants £10k for it.

Interesting, when I was looking for the S2 in the early days I drove two and they had 5 speeds.

Must be the 6 speed box that gives it that quoted 36.7 mpg! (Xmas joke..?.)

Interesting it's for sale near me. I used them 15 years ago to store my +8 over the winter months when I was garageless. They had some really interesting cars stored then. Frank Williams pre-accident road cars and Benetton F1.

The price seems ok to me given what others have sold for recently. Someone needs to let them know that Matt Humphries didn't design the Aero 8 though!

That’s far too strong

All S1’s were 6speed.

People always think low mileage cars are going to be an issue will seals etc. I’ve had many super low mileage old cars and never an issue.
