I have a 1997 4/4 with speakers mounted to the rear of the B post. I have seen on later cars speakers being mounted to the front of the A post in the foot wells. Has anyone done this to an older Morgan. Is there space within the frame work?

I thought I would ask before I started ripping out all the carpet!

Secondly has anyone fitted the Librand door check thingies. Do they work? Are they worth the £100 odd to buy?

Thanks

Librand door checks are very well designed and made , like all their products ...they make entry and egress so much easier ...my 88 year old mother in law can actually get in and out unaided!
Regards
Gerry

The librands door checks are a MUST HAVE, when you go in or out you don't have to keep the door with your hand to prevent it to hit your leg, and it's easier to work inside the car or take something in the footrest ...
Very easy to install and something you'll never regret ...
BTW some find it has a nice look than the leather straps ...

I too have added the Librands stainless steel door checks a while ago to my 2009 4/4Sport and I am very happy with them. thumbs

Only the mounting instructions scared the hell out of me when I first looked at them confused2 .... but then I realised that Librands tries to explain all the different door variations on just two pages.
In the end it was an easy task and I did it even without drilling holes. Just had to add a few washers to the screws on the door.
