I always think a rear tire hanging off the back looks silly... the same with zoom splats

I drove a vanderhall, while not really close to a m3w experience, it’s half the price and could be a viable alternative for someone looking to do more touring and less maintenance... The fwd and automatic transmission steal a lot of fun from you.

Your observations are what I would expect. Can you imagine a Harley Powered setup in the Vanderhall unibody construction with rear wheel drive? Sound and handling characteristics about the same but hopefully build quality higher than it is now. Vanderhall is the three wheeled car experience and the M3W is the three wheeled motorcycle experience.

The Polaris slingshot is a mix that works well but imo is really ugly.

After looking at a Vanderhall (didn't get to drive it) I think that is likely an accurate summary.

I drove ACE#10 to look at the Vanderhall and basically parked it in the dealership's entryway. When I was inside looking at the Vanderhall the sales guy asked me if that was my Morgan out front, I said, "nope"; he looked puzzled when I got back in ACE#10 and rumbled away!

IMO, it's an inbred Transformer, and NOT in a good way!

Well said 3GS , and I like the NOPE , it is all in the use of language and the knowledge of what you are observing. If the guy had walked up to the Ace he would possibly have noticed that there were no Morgan badges anywhere.

The Vanderhall is funky, very interesting. So reasonably priced I'm wondering if I should buy one just to set it alongside my 3W for a lifelong compare and contrast. It actually has a lot of cool bits on it. The steering wheel, real mechanical gauges, dash switches, dash layout in general, the bump shift.. It's a cool effort and feels reminiscent of some of the most expensive sports cars of the 20th century.

Typically, only a boutique European manufacture would be able to produce a vehicle like this, but I'm impressed at the young man from Utah who pulled it off. I am fine with more folks being interested in the least in analog driving when essentially the folks the forefront of the industry want to completely automate it in the next generation or so. It's cool there are a few options in this little budding genre of Sportscars. I just happened to start with the Morgan.

To be fair after looking at Vanderhall reviews online the Morgan although it can be cramped for space, it has more storage and for me that is key.

I was interested in buying a vanderhall in addition to my Morgan as they seem very affordable. When I first saw it at the dealership I thought it was a solid A and beautifully done though very different than the Morgan. I figured it was more of a little modern sports car to go fast. While contemplating taking one for a test drive I sat in it and fiddled with it and quickly concluded I didn’t want one. From the outside very sporty on the inside I felt like I was in a two person bath tub so I passed on the test drive. I figure at some point they will evolve and have a model like the Morgan that has my kind of personality and fits more like a glove which I love. I still think the vanderhall is solid but just not for me yet.
