Who knew that a 57yr old could feel like a big kid again

Just before Christmas picked up my first Morgan, a beautiful silver 95 plus 8 form Allon White and drove it home, I have the biggest smile on my face. Mrs C has been for her first outing and has named her as " The Duchess", which is very appropriate. I'm very fortunate that Mrs C is a fellow petrolhead as well and is busy planning trips away already.
I spent about nine months searching for the right car with a good spec, and when I spotted this one by chance a few weeks ago, I knew I had to test drive it quickly as they don't hang around long. Big thank you to all who contribute on this site as it really helped us gain beneficial insights as to look out for in a Mog. Special thanks to the gentleman that visited Cop Hill Climb with his wife this year who took time out to speak with us about their ownership experiences, I owe you a beer! Anyhoo we spent the weekend looking and discussing and booked a test drive for the Monday morning.John and team at Allon White were excellent and ran through all the specs on the car before the test drive, needless to say I was hooked as it it lived up to all my expectations, and left paying a deposit. Two weeks later after and MOT and a full service, it was ready to pick up.

. It was Minus two degrees, and I drove the forty-five miles home with the roof down and heater on, boy this car turns heads.
So far we have only driven a hundred miles in her but hope to squeeze in a few more over Christmas if the weather improves.
Now on a serious note to the gentleman previous owner who is now in his eighties and has had to let his pride and joy of twenty years go. I solemnly promise to look after her and afford her all the good care and attention that you have so lovingly bestowed on her. Rest assured we will look after her and that she is in good hands.
