I would never keep a MW3 outside (not even a trad), in spite of a good cover. Dust will be a problem, and damp will be a problem. Probably you will not notice much the first months, but little by little you will see how the exposed situation will take it's toll. Anyway, it is the most fun car I ever have driven and I was on the verge of buying one. Well, I sobered up and got a trad instead. More practical, comfortable and easier to sell if/when the day comes. But as I said, the MW3 is hilarious fun. How it would have turned out after a year or two of ownership, I do not know.

Murphyaj, I wouldn’t keep a M3W outside under a cover either. Have you got room for an outdoor Carcoon, or even a temporary garage as sold by Machine Mart?

If In the end, you have no choice but to keep it under a cover, a regular drive and an application of ACF50 should help keep the corrosion and gremlins away. Good luck with finding one 😎

Murphyaj - crack on and get a 3 wheeler, it will change your life. My wife brought me a day out in one for my 50th birthday and within 4 months I had brought drop down screens for my 4/4. As for keeping a car outside, when I was in the Royal Navy my only car was the MOG which I would leave outside next to the sea for months when I was deployed oversea on a ship. I'm in the progress of rebuilding my MOG now, not bad for a 44 year old car. I've had the MOG since 2002! Like any car you need to use it and make sure you maintain it - either by yourself or a trained garage/person. Try looking a Crazy Horse in Norfolk. Here is an idea - take the wife to Norfolk for a weekend and have a go in a 3 wheeler.
Anyway Happy New Year for 2020!

Krazy Horse is in Bury St Edmunds.
I kept a +4 outside under a cover for c 6 months and it was OK
I kept bikes outside for years under covers.
Buy a carcoon or a good cover. Dan at KH would I am sure have some ideas.
