Well, do you? Is it that sort of sports car? And if you do, how does it compare performance wise with the usual track day competition?

do you track your moggie?

We've done several in the Aero 8 and it rocks - no problems keeping up with GT3s and the like. It's always fun when people don't know what it is and are surprised to see such an "old" car keeping up wink

In my S2 I had done the following tracks:

Goodwood
La Luc
Some local national track in Austria
Paul Ricard (Le Castellat)
Le Mans
Nurburgring
Spa Franconchamps (sp?)

So a unanimous yes smile and it was great, superb!

Will I with the SS? No, unless I can get proper track cover insurance as the numbers are slightly diffemt.

1560, have you ever tracked your Morgans? wink

Cheers

Limit mine to "Drivers' Schools", so yes, sort of...

Prescott Hill Climb
MSCC Sprint Taster Day

Have used it for the MSCC Autosolo last year (and will again this year) plus may enter MidMog's July Driving Tests.

Other events not yet decided, but they won't be open pit lane type...

Trads are SO GREAT on track,
you have fun, without having to go over your limits
or those of the car,
I once did some funny stuff to ammuse the TM-fans
which was filmed by Simon
hence my nick: "goodwood drifter"

seriously: go on track, don't push,
just enjoy the fact there is no speedcam around,
try to ride clean lines and brake a little later than
your wife tells you

the Aero's have the big Disadvantage of the expensive and difficult repairs, wouldn't want to risk my Aeromax

even insured, you can't be sure wether the repairs are
- possible technicaly
- insurance company might go bankrupt on the bill from MMC
- how long would it take to get the car repaire, a year???

(but I did a VIP-trackday on Spa with Maxie, never pushed,
just enjoyed driving "free-ly", that day we had only 28cars,
and super-gently passings)

don't take a Aero-sibbling on a MIXED trackday
(regular+preppared cars without numberplate)

Of course: follow a track-course....with a lesser car
You'll be more at ease

Also, look for 'left overtaking only'-trackdays
