Hi everybody. Recently retired from industry, at 64 I acquired a 1981 4/4 and after fixing some minor defects, I browse around the countryside here. Today temperature was about 5°C, little chilly, but pleasure was here anyway. I enjoyed reading your threads, so I asked to join, and hope I will have fruitful exchanges with the group. My experience with old cars is limited, I used to maintain my Citroen 2Cv and my Peugeot 304 about 40 years ago. So technology of Morgan with carb and spark plugs is not too unfamiliar... I also revamped a 1979 BJ43 15 years ago...I know what setting the brake shoes means! but this is a little old and plenty of Morgan specifics are to be discovered. That's me. Hello and welcome Toucan
I am sure you will enjoy the forum. We have a house down near Confolens so often pass by. But didn't manage to bring the Morgan this year. We did do the rallye at the Circuit des Remparts in Angouleme in 2017 and 2018 in our Plus 4 though... well recommended if you haven't done that before. I think there are some folk on here planning a trip in 2020.
