Aero goes out in all weathers, just hose it down before it goes back in Garage. Aero Plus 8 goes out in all weathers. If there is salt about it gets a rinse, but if it is just grubby it goes back in the garage. I wash the car occasionally, and more regularly use a waterless cleaner spray. It is a car, and I don't know about others, but I get no pleasure from sitting in it in the garage going "vroom, vroom". So I go out and drive it.

I use the Plus4 all year - just hose it if salt in evidence - no issues on any of the 3 Mogs I’ve owned - my last car did 100K Kms in just over 9 years.

Salt is the problem.
I've got a Harley, and the bike was out only at one day where I drive about 100 or 200meteres at a salted road
in front of a car wash.
At home I give her a quick clean and than I leave her in the garage.
The fork is built of high quality polished alloy, some parts with clear coulour, some natural. After a few days I think, it would be good to have a second look. Real unhappy. All over white crisps caused by the salt, still under the colour.
I do my best, it isn't cured.
How aggressive salt works you can see often at Moutainbikes or Mmotorcycles which are used the full year, this bikes are most built with a lot of alluminum stuff, a look at such bikes isn't fun.
On a car you must think about if you drive on a (still a few days ago) salted road you drive in a dry or wet cloud of saltdust,
and dust (ask your wife) turns in every space.

One reason I gave up HD - the materials quality was rubbish.

Steve it is all in gentle use of the pedals. My Roadster is very lively in snow & ice.
