I never used my previous Mog as a daily driver and I suspect I won’t do that with the one to come. I was happy to use it for the occasional daily task though, like commuting to work in London when I had a parking space at my last office. Obviously the size and dimensions of the Mog don’t make it that user friendly for tasks like shopping and collecting large objects. But subject to this, Morgan’s are tough and hardy and can take whatever’s thrown at them on a daily basis, so no reason why they can’t be used as a daily driver.
I remember reading a piece in the New York Times a few years ago about a New York architect whose daily drive was a trad Plus 8. He used it for everything, including visiting dirty and rough construction sites, and it could take whatever the tough streets of New York could throw at it. Kudos to him. There is something very cool and intrepid about using a trad Morgan as a daily driver.

I used my 1980 Plus 8 as a daily commute car from 1987 until 1997. During that time I lived in South Staffordshire and worked in Gloucester, Bristol, Stoke on Trent and Leicester. Racked up 220,000 miles during that time - mainly motorway driving and my petrol bill exceeded my mortgage each month. By 1997 the car was a bit of a wreck - corrosion everywhere as well as wet and dry rot. It then sat for about twenty years before I started the rebuild. There was very little salvageable from the original bodywork other than the cowl. The chassis was scrap as was the bodytub. The engine however was rebuilt and didn't need reboring. Did make the commute a lot more fun though!

I used my CX500/ w. sidecar 13 years for 14 days in Norway (january/ february) and every day in Germany. In this years I had to exchange the bike frame two times....
I used alli Blocks between the sidecar frame and the sidecar. After 5 years with salt in Winter they looked like puff pastry. Water, salt an two different metals are a problem...

From 1980 to 1995 my 4/4 was my only car and was used everyday commuting to and from work. It had a tow bar which I used to tow my boat to events around the country and a roll bar which also enabled me to strap a windsurfer onto the car most of the weight on the roll bar the remainder on the windscreen frame. The chassis finally succumbed to rust and I rebuilt it onto a new chassis in 1995. Still have the car today.
