I' ve got a 2018 +4 with the easyup hood.
No unusual noises up to 130KM/h than it gets a little bit loud. At 130 KM/h you can have a talk with your passenger with normal
speaking.
And it's nearly waterproof.

I have a studded vinyl roof. Some points that help fitting:
Use hood swivel pivots to release tension when fitting. Then reset to tighten.
Make sure the lip on the front sits ABOVE the screen frame.
Push the lift the dot fittings fully onto the studs, being careful not to stress the screen.
If you have leaks then fit extra sealing strips under the front edge. I use self adhesive strips.
The front corners of the hood can curl up a bit which affects airflow causing noise. Not as easy to cure though.

All the hoods are noisy compared to any tintop , if your are used to it then its part of the Mog experience !

At 60mph it's more noisy in the Mini than in the Mog. ;-) René I disagree my TR4A an Sprite hood caused very little wind noise as does my wife's MX5. There are a number of different hoods and methods of fixing for a Morgam just because one method dosnt cause a problem it dosnt mean another does not. Before buying my Morgan l tried a number of different cars with both the hood up and down and didnt have a problem but didnt test my model with the hood up. All l was asking was if anyone who has the same model as me also experience the same problem
