No doubt the hamster can cope with 400bhp easily being a competent driver !  Yes, it's probably best for me to stick with my 4/4, I'm clearly not up to the task of handling a real man's car. You are forgetting that when the Hamster finally grows up he too may become a Hamwich.

You don't need 400bhp to have fun...... Agreed. One of my favourite toys only has a meagre 155bhp, but will do 0-60 in a smidge over 3 secs.....

When i had 1000cc (Sports) motorbikes, I genuinely found them better to ride safely than the 500cc bike I started with.
I went on and took advice from an Advanced Rider/course and the mantra was "the throttle operates in two directions!".
A Morgan any Morgan (as per any car) is unsafe, if you just open the throttle - not taking in the surrounding roads conditions and your own ability, into account?
However, I would 100% prefer to be in a more powerful car say 375bhp than one with 75bhp. Yes (for a while) you can boot the 75bhp car - as if it is a Spanish Renter - however, driving smoothly and responsibility and overtaking the odd lorry (on an A-Road) with confidence - can be safer - from my biking experiences.
So if I were lucky enough to own a PlusSix...I would 100% take it on track day - and experience, it's and my limits...and learn from the experience (planning to do so with the Roadster this year).
Honesty means doing it right, even when no one is looking!

Thats true. But a bike is different - you need to keep a bigger safety bubble round a bike and often the only way to do that is by using the power and overtaking into clear space. Your ability to overtake isnt remotely the same in a car, any car, the power isnt half as useable and the frustration is greater. The result is dodgier overtakes. With a greater power to weight ratio, I have never skdded on my bike except with a flat rear tyre. In the car I have spun and certainly have fishtailed. I dont understand the engineering reasons of why it should be so, but I am convinced the balance of a bike is better. I know very well from practical experience that I am much more vulnerable if I do come off my bike, but I am convinced that I am much less likely in the first place to have an accident on my bike.

I used to have a grinall scorpion And the was too powerful. The rear end would brake away with no warning when accelerant hard in a most uncontrollable way. I sold it to buy my plus 4 as my wife refused to go in it! Here is a scorpion if you are not familiar with them. https://youtu.be/Jt9TKxFTNyI
