Would you need to? It feels fast enough for a car where your bottom is half an inch from the tarmac. smile

I think it's good news that Hammond is a fan of Morgan, he is one of the world's best known motoring celebrities.

Litchfield are currently offering the below on the Supra. (Same engine as Plus 6)

Stage 1 Remap £600 inc. VAT - 440bhp

Stage 2 (Downpipe, GPF Delete & Remap) £1495 inc. VAT - 473bhp

So quite possible looking at their figures that the sports exhaust can get the Plus 6 to 400bhp ish.

Very easy to get the BMW engine over 500bhp, now whether its drive able is another question ....

That's the key bit isn't it. Adding power is something I love doing but there comes a point when it reduces your enjoyment. The only car I have ever had that just took more and more was a Skyline GTR33v which at 600bhp still felt like it had capacity for even more.

I think with the Plus Six it would be more likely that you would want a map to remove the dead pedal low RPM response due to emissions mapping and then reduced the lump of torque arriving in the first 1300-2500 rpm segment to make it more adjustable. I can see that making an improvement, perhaps another 50bhp at the top end for bragging rights and a good giggle once in a while?

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Absolutely. I was out for a play earlier today and the roads were so greasy that even my 165bhp was a bit too much at times.

I'd much rather have a car that occasionally feels a bit slow when I want to drive at 10/10ths than something with performance that I'm afraid to use half the time in case it bites back.

My Mog can be scary enough with 230bhp so goodness knows what 500bhp in a Mog would feel like

Yes, it's probably best for me to stick with my 4/4, I'm clearly not up to the task of handling a real man's car.
