Parents with children never seem to get the idea that exhaust pipes are hot enough that they should keep their little one from touching the pipes otherwise a dna sample will be left at the scene. It might be fried but it will still be there after the paramedics leave. A sign saying “hot pipes no touching” might be good when first shut off. Yet again, the ones who would be hurt cannot read.

Your designation of “21st century primates” is being quite kind to elevate their status so high.

The optional vintage bonnet latches are easier to line up than the others. The ones used on the Liberty Ace seem a better way to go.

Osten, you live in the Middle East you know sensible thinking, reasonableness don't exist and rules are made to be broken. I would hope you have a secure space to store the M3W!!!

G56 sells a kit of springs that are added to the dzus bonnet fasteners that hold them out and make that process easier; I put them on my M3W and they worked well. Other places sell the stuff too but G56 puts everything in one bag and G56 added them to my exhaust order for free.

Yes, the ACE has posts on the bottom of the bonnet and boot to ensure correct alignment, the posts also keep the paint off the tarmac if needed (only ACE's bonnet comes off, boot is hinged).

Took Saint Ex out this morning for a run to the post office - took the scenic route and aside from one sticky taxi it all went well. The Morgan is definitely rock and roll and fits me like a glove (famous words until the first service bill). I'm so glad I pulled the trigger !

Need to experiment on clothing styles now - Should try and pull of a great gatsby look taking the wife out. Just need to figure out how to keep her hair in place ... (Any tips?)

Sadly I don't live in a house so "DIY" work is out of the question due to building management rules.

This any use? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ena_Sharples.

For service can you not hire space for a day or two? In UK first service at 1000 mile/3 months is free labour just pay parts ie. oil.
