Your Plus 4 should have a single din blanking plate in the heater box. I would think, given the year, that like my 2011 it is radio prepped with speaker location holes behind the footwell carpets and speaker wires and power supply plugs also.
The system I have just bought to install is a Blaupunkt SQR46, pricey but classic looks with DAB, Bluetooth, USB & SD Ports.

Thanks John

Yes the Plus 4 does have a blanking plate with wires behind it. Unfortunately D.A.B. Bluetooth and suchlike are way above my comprehension!

I just fancy a challenge in mounting the radio in a more accessible position 😊

Why not just fit one in the proper place but with a remote keypad. Plenty available.

I use the Sony Music Centre app on my Android (i-phone version as well) phone to control my Sony DSX-A510BD radio. Controls volume, tuner channels, source and music streaming from my phone via Bluetooth.

I use one of these bluetooth controllers:

[Linked Image]

Cost a couple of quid from ebay, and can operate it without having to stray too far from the steering wheel. For me, it links between my phone (where I store my music) and a Bluetooth Speaker I keep behind the seat, but will link with any system that uses bluetooth. Means I can also leave the phone in my pocket reducing the chance of any fines!
