My search for a four stud steel wheel is proving rather fruitless.

Although I think they were originally made by Dunlop, I believe they are a copy of a VW Beetle wheel.

I can find lots of VW wheels with the same PCD 4x130 but don't think they have the right offset. Any idea of the offset on the standard wheel?

Cheers

Phil

Tried that - but unfortunately couldn't find anything useful.

Maybe a member of the MSCC could help, I'm not otherwise I'd enquire for you.
I guess they must have some kind of technical reference manuals somewhere.
Failing that give Keith a call at BHM there's not much he doesn't know about most Morgan's and he is most helpful.

I'm a member, but apart from here, I'm not sure where I'd ask?

I've stuck a classified ad in Miscellany for a wheel but had no response. Put another on for next month so fingers crossed.

I can always take a wheel off and measure myself so not a massive problem, just wondered if anyone had the stats to hand.

Try Melvyn Rutter. He often has the elusive parts.

Also, MMC fitted steel wheels to the Anniversary series that was marketed around 2006 - not sure if this is relevant but it may help.

Tried MR but no joy,

The Anniversary model had a 5 stud wheel. They're apparently no longer available either!

One option is Image Wheels, who'll make a bespoke wheel, but at a price!

There's a bloke in the US selling used ones on ebay, but he's asking about £180 plus postage so also a bit steep....

The early Dunlop pierced steel wheels had a horrible reputation for cracking between the bolt holes.

I think Barry Sumner used to use a Volvo wheel (?) on his 4/4 racer. What make and model I don't know.
