Lovely day yesterday. A trip of 60 kms top down to go to San Pellegrino Terme for lunch with some friends. Return in the dark top up to handle the cold. We took some recommended back roads on the way back to avoid traffic.

At one point we hit the speed hump from hell. I did see it despite the dark and the lack of markings, we crossed it at less than 10 km/h but it was not only high but very abrupt. We came down on it with a teriible bang and a squawk of scraping metal. swear

I have had a look under the car but other than the usual signs on the gearbox crossmember I could not see any damage. It will have to wait until we can get it up on a hoist to be sure.

Yes thankfully only minor, luggage rack, over-riders and tubes and a small dint in the panel where the brolly tube had hit it. BHM worked their magic and it came back better than it was before the prang !!

wall to wall sunshine today in Reading, even if it was a tad cold.

Never mind the salt on the roads, I enjoyed a short run out, even if it was only to the supermarket. drive

Very grey and damp today - mainly low cloud. But driving the Mog always makes the day look better, and turns a 5-mile journey for milk etc into 22 miles!

A ~60 mile round trip to the cars, coffee and cakes open day at Dowsetts Cars and a wash afterwards. Someone posted pictures of the 4/4 at the event on Twitter.

Great day out today to attend the FolkMog NTCL (not the Christmas lunch) at the Randolph hotel, Reydon nr. Southwold, and attended by over 50 members with seven Morgans present. Excellent three course lunch in great company followed by tombola, auction etc. 86 mile round trip on generally dry roads just beating the rain which considerately arrived a tad later than expected.

Icing on the cake was winning a £100 worth of goodies in the raffle courtesy of KH plus a trophy (thanks Rob).

Here's me thinking global warming has really got a hold in Russia.
