You guys crack me up, I just read this whole post based on Coopermans Harry joke. It has however answered very good question about replacing leaf springs as I spent the afternoon measuring the distances and travel between the axle and diff, whilst considering whether I could figure out how I could fit a tool tray under the parcel shelf. I have begun to think that the leafs may be getting ancient and saggy. When comparing the dimensions in the aluminum tool tray thread.

Thanks to to this thread it's definitely a job too far for my abilities, and will definitely take into a garage. Thanks for educating a newbie!

I love the humour and tongue in cheek approach in TM, long may it continue
