It ran on my top end iPad smoothly until I got to the hood colour and then just froze. I’m sorry Morgan but you really should make sure your configurator works efficiently on all platforms...so many people rely on tablets these days.

Done the configurator dream bit.
Keeping it to under 80k.
Standard cream and pepperpot wheels, black hood and interior, black leather strap, luggage rack. End of.
+4 same as but under 70k?

Possible I would say?

If the current classic range price for a basic +4 Is 11k less than the roadster, the same price point difference on a +6 would bring the +4 in at 67k and the 3/4 in at 63k
The difference in engine cost would probably be not that great so it is difficult to see where the cost saving for Morgan can be.
Factored into the classic range is the standard having items you would not want like pvc hood, interior leather colours etc. I doubt there are many standard 4/4 or +4 models that leave the factory without extras.
I originally had a PVC hood but due the frame being wrong the hood was ripped.
On replacement I upgraded to mohair at the extra cost of £250. It would have cost £1500 at order.
PS The 3/4 is the BMW Mini engine with MX5 gearbox. Now that would be a great little starter Morgan as the 3 cylinder 1500 turbo in the Cooper is a cracker.

This has got me going.
I added up all the extras on my 4 seater to the cost of the current +4.
The cost would be 54k.
To a roadster it would be 62k.
We are getting close to possible new chassis territory!

Agree, won't run on either of our home laptops, or even my works' PC which is ok with AutoCad

I did get it working on my 2011 MacBookPro when I took a moment. Using Chrome and waiting at certain points for the download and refresh. Hitting reload/retry as an "I want it now" user did not help. There is an ability to select high/medium/low resolution at the top so if you are going through the options menus then select low and then flip to high at the end.

I did not seem to need to add too many extras but a couple were missing?

A bit frustrated.....wouldn't load at all on my iPad so got the MacBook Air out.

I don't use it often (normally just use the iPad) so after a couple of hours updating to the latest OS, I went for a look on the configurator.

still wouldn't load on Safari...and having done all the latest updates, that side of things should be OK.

I would have thought Morgan would have properly tested the configurator using all the common platforms before going live....I'm certainly not prepared to download a different browser to accommodate them and TBH if I was a serious buyer I'd still not do that. mad2

Hopefully they'll remedy things over the next 110 years...

- I've got it working on my 2019 iMac. It took 30 seconds to load, and is very jerky, but is usable.

On Chrome it is much better, but still takes 30-40 seconds to load. I just tried Firefox, which was a similar loading time. It was a bit jerky to start with, but improved after another minute or so - presumably still downloading in the background.

According to the Activity Monitor on my Mac, the Google Chrome Renderer is using about 1GB of RAM....
