Richard: I like it, you get serious snow out there Bruce. Yes, we had close to 2 feet when that picture was taken. However, as is typical here in Colorado the next day was clear blue skies, sun and in the high 40s, today its back to 19F and more snow about 8 inches due today. Of course we are geared for this type of weather and its great because when spring arrives end May we go on fire watch so the moisture is most welcome. As you say you are prepared for it, we had a couple of feet of it a couple of years back down in in the South Hams and due to the drifting between the banks and next to no snow ploughs we were cut off for 3 days but no problem with that my wife normally has about a fortnights food in the house. It's only happened once before in our 41 years down here so quite a nice change really. We don't have the fire watch here but as you will probably know Dartmoor and Woodbury Common can be a problem with careless people with barbecues etc. Us chaps with explosive thingies can also be a problem!! Many a happy day spent on Woodbury Common he said sarcastically. Excellent Bruce, I'll bet you were, are they good for rapid snow clearance I wonder ? I've been fishing with a friend who has such toys and that really was dramatic fun if not a little one sided, we ate well.
