It looks as though the MP system has diverter valves to avoid the final silencer. So it could be a lot more fruity in Sport Mode. The Sport Mode switch could be set to change the exhaust flow.
The 2017 AMG C43 does that: in Sport Mode it would fail its noise test, which is why the handbook says it is only for use "where permitted by law", or something. In fact on the 2017 model the loudness is selectable by the driver, but in the 2019 face lift version and in my 2019 A43 the exhaust noise is not user selectable separately from driving mode. That was my first thought as well Peter. I even started writing a post to that effect. Look closer though and compare with OE mountings since that is all they are, being located after split. Regarding aftermarket LSD, sure I read somewhere that it was deliberately not included in factory spec. to minimise traction problems by spinning away excess power, given lack of traction control.

Not an expert but surly two separate system's would be more efficient without that cross silencer at the rear..
.+8 Now gone for a 1800 4/4. Duratec in bright yellow.

It looks "pretty" however, we have no idea, how this exhaust - sounds on the car......?
Honesty means doing it right, even when no one is looking!

He said it felt a little like a robot compared to his old M Coupe (the little hunchback model). He said that the best car he had heard around was some bloke with a Morgan that came in from time to time The M Coupe was a rather special car. I'm surprised he didn't keep it. Guess you didn't let on who the Morgan driver was?

The standard system looks quite strange with that additional front box...not sure what that’s all about. The MP one if the rear cross box is switchable looks to be almost unsilenced! I assume the cats are mounted by the manifolds and dint form part of this system?

The AMG GTC I drove last year was brand new and standard. She has diverter valves which can be switched independently of the drive program. It seems to depend on how the sound is generated. A search on the web turns up some rather confusing results. It seems that a so-called Soundaktuator (or sound generator, "Active Sound") really is prohibited but some sort of flap system can still be installed. It probably depends how it is used.
