The truth is hidden, that is clear.
An article in the Daily Telegraph today suggests that the reported figures are understated by a factor of 10.
It also predicts a significant recession, globally, as JIT supply chains are collapsed.

Another web source suggested close to 150,000 cause and 25,000 deaths as of 6 days ago. It will be way above that now.

Just reading that the Doctor who was picked up by the police and harassed for talking about the virus has died of it.... From the article it took 20 days for him to be diagnosed from entering hospital.... He doesn't look to fit the 'at risk' profile of age or infirmity (although there's no way of knowing about some hidden immunity reducing factor).... Fact it can kill a youngish looking doctor with hospital care at hand that seemed unable to save him doesn't mesh with the current risk story.
Tho being cynical he did publicly embarrass the state apparatus and his story was well enough known to deter legal reprisals.... And now he's dead.... From a country that seems to execute people to feed their organ harvesting industry who knows how fatal his condition might have been in another setting?

They must have opened the box because they're sure he is dead now..... Sad state of affairs when a Doctor dies helping others..... And worrying that, in spite of having him in hospital, they weren't able to save what looks to be a young fit one of their own.... Makes you wonder at the official story.

China has a press mechanism that makes Pravda look like The Beano. If they try and show they can build a new hospital in 20 days then it tells you they think you want to hear that because it is serious. This means it is ten time more serious. If they say 10 dead, it will be MORE. If it were almost any other country I would feel less concerned however the deception levels available within the country towards their own people as well as externally means I am worried about this one.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

What impressed me very much is the fact that the discoverer of the virus, the 35 year old ophthalmologist himself died of it.
Either the man was a pain in the a## for the government and the communist party "helped" him to die, which would be very bad.
Or in a completely different way it is very dramatic when a healthy, highly intelligent young doctor who knows how to act when he is infected is dead within two weeks „just“ because of the corona virus itself. If this second case is the truth, we have a lot more to come.

Worth putting this in context...
Every year "Winter Flu" comes round and around the world kills between 30,000 and 60,000 people. The number varies depending on the strain and the effectiveness of the vaccine.
So, if this new flu type virus kills as many as the boring old winter flu we should not be that bothered.
BUT... and this is the big BUT, we don't yet know if it will behave as a second winter flu, or like the 1919/20 Spanish flu. In the latter case expect between 300,000 and 600,000 additional deaths.
We are bombarded by opinion based on unverifyable facts, many from dubious sources.
Wash your hands or use a gel sanitiser if you touch ANYTHING that has been touched by others, such as toilet doors.
If you are paranoid take your own silverware when you eat out: my old Gran always did this, but then she was a 1919/20 Flu survivor.
Masks are pointless.

The 1919 H1N1 pandemic infected 27% of the world's population and had a 10% death rate. If Coronavirus is that bad we'd be looking at ~ 200 million dead worldwide. Let's hope early 21st century management techniques are better than those in the early 20th century. In the UK the NHS would be completely overwhelmed. We have four High Consequence Airborne Infectious Disease Centres but each is designed to handle two patients at a time and at most can handle four. After that, patients will have to be handled in isolation wards in normal NHS hospitals, which are currently at around 98 % bed occupancy.
