Actually I have a nerve problem with my right foot due to a partially severed or crushed sciatic nerve that occurred as the result of an accident. It means that I have a problem with fine motor control of my right foot. For this reason I would be very reluctant to drive any car that had a powerful hair trigger response to throttle movement.

I don't think I can use that as a defence for a speeding fine though idea

Is it notifiable for insurance purposes though? I would think that would be the first question......does your insurance company know?

Oh so true, it's always down to the nut behind the wheel and their inputs by feet and hands!

The Plus 6 is a quick car. If you don't want a quick car, don't buy one. Simples.

Very true !

Also a car with traction control and abs doesn't necessarily get you out of trouble .... oldgit

I've just had a fun few days driving Audi S4's on a huge frozen lake in Finland, the first thing you do before hitting the ice is turn off the ESC. 350bhp and 500+ ft lbs makes for interesting handling. Granted it is not on the road, but it's all about driving to the conditions and vehicle capabilities.

We do ice racing on the frozen lakes up here, a couple of years ago I took the +8 much to the amusement of the hundreds attending and watching. It was 9F snowing and I had the roof down, plus I had driven an hour to get there so was pretty cold. They didn't laugh after I won my class, there were numerous objections raised which meant my disqualification until I counter objected and won. They subsequently changed the rules so I now can't enter, I remain the only Morgan winner of the George Town Ice Races.

Total sense...in other words you treated the throttle like there was an egg under it!

Sorry to say the owners of these damaged PlusSix's.....did not take that approach....... crazy2
