For those who have access to reading the Telegraph (I subscribe online) I would be interested to see your comments on this new sports car. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/cars/fe...purity-purpose-retro-sports-car-package/The author, Alex Robbins, is blown away by the simplistic offering (pure handling, without safety aids, and with sensible power as opposed to stupid and unnecessary super car performance) which parallels what I expect we will be reading once motoring correspondents get to test the new CX Plus 4.

So the same price and power as a Plus Six. Similar volume of sales in the greater scheme of things. Similar performance unless you have a track to play with. Aftermarket service?
I would rather buy a Lotus of some form.
Just cannot get over the looks but then I love my S2 even with those headlamps so I guess I am an outsider at the best of times. The car industry is a difficult place, I wish them luck. (Not selling the Coupe to buy one that's for certain.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

You need a high ceiling in your garage to exit from it

Pete - thanks for finding this and posting. Great road test and reporting. Bears out what the Telegraph review was stating - a true sports car offering raw analogue driving thrills. I will be even more interested to see if the same motoring correspondent (who has tested previously the Plus 8) gets his hands on the new CX Plus 4 and whether his findings are as complimentary. I expect the price factor should favour the Morgan CX Plus 4by about £20K but the driving experience might be similar. The Plus 6 with a manual box would be more of a true competitor to the Jannarelly but that isn’t an option. Not long to wait now for Geneva!
