My Factory fit valance on my 2011 +4 Supersports is painted body colour on the back...aren't I lucky.
The beautifully made Wolf Performance valance on my 4/4 was left shiny aluminium on the rear and vinyl wrapped on the front to match body colour.

Thanks for the responses folks. Dry fitted my Wolf valance over the weekend whilst it was persisting down outside and just got back from dropping it off at the bodyshop. Decision made - body colour for the face (obviously) and satin black for the reverse side. I like your stands..very smart!!
I've just had a look at Tarka's valence. I can't get to all of it, but it seems that the inside is body coloured and then covered with underseal.

Suggest attaching self adhesive neoprene strip to inside lower lip of front of wings. Better to do it in advance of final fit of Wolf valance to protect where it touches same.

I have the same Wolf Valance ready to paint and fir for my 4/4 80th! So I would be very interested in how it all goes! I was going to paint it body colour front and back... but reading this, I like your plan better! I would also be interested in exactly what 'Brass/Gold' paint you choose to spray the lower grill! I was intending to remove my radiator grill and repaint that in the same colour... will go with one with a bit more 'Brass' tone so it stands out a little bit more... All of this when I get back from Oz of course!  P.S LOVE your axle stands!

I received mine last week from Cain and have also done the dry fit and it’s now at the paint shop.
Did you drill the holes to receive the rear support brackets for the valance roughly centreline of the bottom rad cowl?
