I have a. 98’ +8 and wish to remove passenger airbag. Anyone have a guide to doing this? I am refinishing dash and want to memove it. Thanks

Make sure you inform your insurance company. Plus you will have to get the SRS module reprogammed to overcome the missing airbag.

Airbags are small pyrotechnical devices. Working with them requires specialist knowledge, unless you want it to go off in your face....
Do you plan to re-fit the airbag once the dash has been refinished, or do away with it completely?
If you have a steering wheel airbag then as Martin said, the SRS module will need to be told.
Or do you plan to remove both and fit a more attractive steering wheel? If so you can probably have the SRS module removed as well.

Morgan Park in Hamburg, Germany, know all about this, some of the UK dealers also.

Instructions can be found on the GOMOG web site. The steering wheel A/B is a stand alone unit.
It's quite straight forward.
