Has an S1 ally dash got any value?

I bought the last one at the factory some years ago now but never fitted it, cost me £450 plus Vodka from memory

Everything has a value but for the most part Morgan owners are quite thrifty with parts in my experience and I would imagine not at that price, S1's are rare cars and I find as they are one of the bargains of the Mog world people seem reluctant to spend much money on them other than maintenance. I would also say it is very unlikely to be replaced as they rarely get damaged or messed with - what are you looking to do with it?

If it needs a home I could be interested purely because I wouldn't want to see it scrapped or go to waste, and I am a bit of a hoarder for random parts that I end up never needing and selling at a huge loss laugh2
Oh and yes I would pay you something - but would need to be sensible.

I have a spare series 4 dash. A handbag made a tiny indentation on the passenger side of mine so replaced it and kept the original :-)

I guess the likelyhood of the part being needed is slightly rare as it is difficult to damage with the car actually being severly impacted in which case it is likely to be written off.

I can only suggest contacting the main Morgan specialists such as Berrybrook, RSW, RTCC etc and making them aware you have it with photo's and details. If they are aware and then need one it is likely they will remember, people tend to in this community.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Indeed.
Understood, difficult part to damage.

Not sure what I’ll do with it. I realise it’s not going to attract that money simply as eluded to, Morganeers are generally as tight as a camels ring piece in a sand storm.

In actual fact having been buying NOS parts for an old Mk2 Escort £450 is less than what was achieved for two window scraper rubbers on eBay.

It's the standard accessory for the beautiful passengers the Aero attracts!
