Thats the one!

Dan was brilliant, I told him first off I wouldn't be buying anything so as to not waste his time and that I just wanted to learn more for a future purchase, and he still spent a good few hours talking me through them and generally being a great guy. I then decided after seeing how mint it was that maybe I should buy it and everything snowballed rather quickly! So I am currently mulling over options now, fantastic service at KH though.

Personally, I'd be looking for a significant discount on the asking price - but I guess that's dealer prices for you!

Thanks for that, very useful information.
I will do a search on the rectifier, is it something you can see? I don't want to sound completely daft asking about it as I am not familiar.

Regarding prices - what do you think it is worth? I mean what should I be paying for it..
Thanks all! cheers

For context Nick, for insurance purposes I recently had to have a valuation carried out on my M3W. It’s 3 years old, 15,000 miles at the time and in excellent condition. Allon White, my Dealer, valued it at £33,000 - slightly more than I payed for it new.

Here is a picture of the rectifier mounted on the lower front right, with failed rubber bobbins. 2014 on cars had it moved to the right hand side of the chassis, looking form the front.

Thanks for that - so I am guessing this should be a sub 30k car?

Nick, here's one at AW, more options, less miles

https://allonwhite.co.uk/used-morgan-cars-for-sale-uk/2013-morgan-3-wheeler-iris-blue-st1246

Obviously price is in the eye of the beholder and how much they want it, BUT I've never considered the Modern MTW to be one that appreciates in value on the used market - Caveat Emptor !

Oh BTW, most 'used' MTW at dealers are actually being sold on commission & are hence negotiable

Seems like a fair price for a well upgraded car, centa upgrade alone must be over £2.5 k and K/H are the guys to go to for anything M3W, no mention of the centa on the allon white car!

Thanks both, i've seen the AW car - might have to ask them if its had the centa upgrade..

So is something along the lines of 29k reasonable to ask? It is what I thought it was worth - but no idea if I am a bit high based on a few comments.

The second one is mine. The price is negotiable and it's like new. I need to sell it because I have to many cars and no time to use them
