The fan on mine is temperature dependant as well, went out yesterday and it was bloody cold! Stopped at traffic lights and the fan came on after being stopped for a while, warmer weather and it comes on as soon as you go below 10mph. Ditto..... it is activated by the head temperature

Non of the three has the engine cooling fan ... Mine has it. The picture was taken before installing it

Sounds like they are set to come on way before they need to, if I recall one of the benefits Morgan stated was improved mpg so I wonder if that is why they keep it on the cool side..?

Sounds like they are set to come on way before they need to, I don't think so. This is an 1800 cc air cooled twin. The heads get very hot even when the oil temp is not (I added an oil temp gauge). the position of the engine is great fro cooling the heads whilst traversing the road, however at very low speeds there is not significant air movement.

Many thanks Bunny. Revised rear Hub – Designed to reposition the rear wheel with respect to the drive belt. More details later in this document. Recommended.
. Are you able to elaborate on this one please? Struggling to find out what it is.  In early 2013, the rear hub was improved to allow around 5mm more clearance between the drive belt and the tyre. These later hubs are black anodized. However, 2012 & Some 2013 cars may still be fitted with a silver anodized hub that does not benefit from this clearance between the drive belt and tyre. RedThree wrote up an excellent PROCEDURE for retrofitting the black hub. 12th Down the list. The Urban Cooling Kit is designed to improve cooling to the rear of the cylinders (in the M3W installation sense) when on the move and stationary. It also helps stabilise cylinder head temperature to improve conditions when the engine is running. The Skip Fire that is used on early cars is more of an emergency measure to prevent serious damage due to very high temperatures. High temperatures will kill your expensive S&S engine quickly. You really know when Skip Fire happens and it's not something you want to occur on a regular basis. The ECU flash that is done with the cooling fan fit to deactivate Skip Fire and control the fan running has the added benefit of a better base fuelling map than the early original. The Urban Cooling Kit is maybe not the best looking thing but it is well worth having if you want to extend the life of your engine.
