Marmota, good Post with details about the Ball Mount.
BTW your steering wheel looks excellent! Did you find a new quick release and what is the Horn/center cap?

Hello Stephen. Thanks for the compliment! The steering wheel is a Moto Lita 3-spoke, 14” size, spoke style with holes, wood rim with rivets, dark brown stain, thicker wood rim, and the center has a Morgan cap with Morgan badge. So no horn (I would love to have the horn In the center, but not feasible with the 3 wheeler steering column configuration All configured and purchased through the Moto Lita webpage (and a few emails to clarify some points, that they replied fast and really nice). It looks impossible to get a Travern quick release. I contacted Krazy Horse in the UK and they told me they are also very annoyed with this situation. It seems we are many asking just for the QR so we can use a couple of different steering wheels. But MMC and Travern made it the way it’s impossible to find a back door…

Thanks Marmota. Other than not being able to source a Quick Release was everything else a simple bolt in place? https://wolo-mfg.com/model-rc-100-w...rsal-wireless-remote-control-system.html Does this look like it might fit under the center cap?

This device looks fantastic! OMG my brain goes really fast when thinking about improvements on the M3W too! The Morgan cap is quite large and empty inside. The cap is just retained by pressure towards the inner part, so it doesn't move. That might be the Only problem: you can't push on something that's fixed! BUT!!! the way the cap is fixed by pressure relies a lot on a round gasket / rubber. If you remove it, the outer cap may slide over the inner part… I'm starting to drool… I tried but can't find the exact size of the round button of the device you put in your post. Do you have more Information about its real dimensions, Stephen?

No I do not, but it is something that does interest me and once I get the gps mounted properly that will come next. The horn from MMC certainly has no distinction.
Thanks for the tips.

I'm thinking that, as the cap can be purchased from Moto Lita separately (you don't need a new steering Wheel, the standard one fits this cap too), I'm very tempted to buy this device, and let the whole thing fixed inside the cap. Then just drill the center of the cap, where the Morgan logo is (it might even have a very similar diameter tan the button!) and just glue the Morgan logo over the button. So the only moving part would be the Morgan logo = the button. I'm sure at 99% it should work perfectly! So tempted…. Stephen, your posts always tease me.... please stop... LOL!

When I was a young child I modified all my toys, never left one stock, and it drove my parents nuts. They finally realized a career in engineering was where I should be and that was what I pursued. About age 10 I took a wind up toy tank, took it apart and reversed the bearing so it went very fast for a short period of time instead of crawling over everything slowly, it continued into the army driving tanks and armored carriers although modifying them was a bit more difficult (rules and regs) but they were happy with putting more guns one them😊
The Morgan is a perfect platform for modification. The biggest problem is fragile drive train parts and access to them.

I have the RAM mounts for my Harleys and the RAM Ball should be made of aluminum and then anodized. BUT... it's core is metal and the outer skin is some durometer of urethane and with just the "little" flex in the ball outer covering, let's the mount bounce a LOT. Do any of you have a solid metal ball mount versus the urethane coated one? ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/02/28/RAM-mount-6.jpg)
