I have received a set of these for my Plus 4 from Morgan and unless I am doing something incorrect they do not seem to be a good and snug fit!!! At £37 they are not cheap, any suggestions?

I have rubber bonnet corner protectors and use transparent silicon sealer on the inside to hold them on. This helps but they come off eventually.

I just put some white tack in them!

Always intrigued by these! What exactly are they trying to protect against, I wonder? I cannot see what would normally damage the bonnet corners. However, I would not be surprised if these things, acting as water traps, might cause damage in themselves. IMO, many better things to spend the hard-earned on.

Yes, put them in the shed. I have a set but never used them as they are an awful fit and as others say, more likely to cause more problems than they solve. My old MG’s had rubber ones which were fine but even these had a rivet through them to keep them in place. Unless you are doing something weird with your bonnet it’s highly unlikely you will damage a corner.

bought me some rubber ones but I never used them. I also have 4 children (no connection obviously).

Assuming you mean the leather ones, I have had (and lost) quite a few of these over the years but all seem to get "baggy" after a while.

They look great, especially with a matching bonnet strap.

I have tried blue tac, double sided tape, velcro , but none seem to last.

I have now given up on them!........unless someone has a better idea.

Interesting in that I have used them since new, only at the front corners. Supposedly to stop paint chafe. Ah the paint has still been rubbed away, but is very shiny from being rubbed by the rubber.

Leather or neoprene patches stuck to the inside with DST on both surfaces work a lot better.

Agree, plus along the ‘curve’ where they rub the most.
