Anyone done it - found a nice kit from amazon. Has two separate heat pads, one for the base and the other for the back.

I'm assuming they fit between the cover and the foam which is OK if you're making the seat from scratch (which I was considering) but what about on a ready made Morgan seat? Remove some clips and slide the pad inside I assume.

Thats in advance

ps - yes I'm a bit nesh!

I know plenty of people doing it with older MX5's with no issues but Morgan seats will be different just because they can be!

The leather cover unclips. I also know people have easily fitted the Librands inflatable lumbr support by pushing in under the leather & above the foam.
You need to be careful routing the wires so the seat won't crush them if moved backwards on the runners.

Hi John, seen the gomog item but the link is orphaned. Goes nowhere unfortunately.

Might have a look when it warms up a bit! Bit paradoxical, being too chilly to fit heated seats!

Had a start tonight

I've got two pads in (just) and now need to fit some wiring - anyone with ideas on where I can find a switched and non-switched live under the dash? Non-switched needs 10 amps.

cheers

You can join the switched and non switched together and just wire to a fused acc. Live

Some progress today but what a faff....

managed to get a non fused direct battery feed, now fused at 15A and a fused, ignition switched 5A feed for the relays.

Really pleased with the switch location, installed in the triangular gusset by the radio.

Now to repeat for the passenger side but first I have to turn the car round!
